Description

The government anticipates awarding a non-competitive sole source purchase order as the result of this synopsis/solicitation. It is the Government’s belief that only W. S. Darley (small business) and or their authorized distributors can obtain the required technical and engineering data, and genuine OEM parts, required to successfully fulfill this requirement. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to fulfill this requirement are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within three (3) calendar days from the date this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror is an authorized distributor and verifying the offeror will supply only genuine OEM parts.



The total estimated value is less than $250,000.00.



This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Aquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b) and 6.303-2 modified to reflect procedures in 13.5 (a)(ii).



Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objectives.



The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.



Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation for future requirements regarding software licensing of this type.



The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
