Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to ST GEORGE EQUIPMENT LLC for QTY: 100 NorthStar Battery P/N 190FT Blue+. It is the governements belief and based on market research that is the only contractor that can provide this product immediately.



Vendor is a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (DVOSB)



The total estimated value is less than $63,364.00.



This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Aquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b) (urgent) and 6.303-2 modified to reflect procedures in 13.5 (a)(ii).



Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be

advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the

mission objectives.



The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the

Government.



Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining

whether to conduct a competitive solicitation for future requirements regarding software licensing of this type.



The Government will not be responsible for any costs

incurred by responding to this notice.
