Description



Solicitation N00421-23-T-0003 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. Requested products must be FANUC, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13 and this RFQ is a Total Small Business Set-Aside authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.



The Fanuc Alpha Series Wire EDM Machine and accessories are compatible with the



existing shop’s software ecosystem and existing previous Fanuc equipment.



Another system would not provide the unique capabilities of the Fanuc system. These unique capabilities are patented, or patent pending, and are required for indented operational capabilities,



If another system was purchased, the users of this machine will be required to purchase



additional software and hardware. Schedule risk would also increase due to additional required training for new, unfamiliar software, and lack of required capabilities.





Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.
