GSA is conducting market research to satisfy a requirement for a multiple year contract for Construction Management Services within the Woodlawn, MD Metro area. Please confirm that your company is interested in participating in a future solicitation and currently has the staffing needed to satisfy the below requirements:
A. One (1) Senior Project Manager: The Senior Project Manager should have twenty (20) years of experience in the field of construction management. This person should have experience in the management of design and construction contracts, submittal reviews, schedule reviews, fire alarm/ sprinkler systems, mechanical/ electrical systems, civil / façade projects and space renovations. The Senior Project Manager should have experience managing not only individual projects but a program of design and construction projects.
B. Three (3) Project Managers: Each Project Manager should have ten (10) years of experience in the field of construction management. They should have experience in the management of design and construction contracts, estimating, submittal reviews, schedule reviews, fire alarm/ sprinkler systems, mechanical/ electrical systems and space renovations. Project managers should have experience managing multiple projects, simultaneously.
C. One (1) Mechanical Inspector: The inspector should have ten (10) years of experience inspecting mechanical and plumbing construction. The inspector should be a master, journeyman or certified mechanical inspector.
D. One (1) Electrical Inspector: The inspector should have ten (10) years of experience inspecting electrical construction. The inspector should have experience inspecting fire alarm construction. The inspector should be a master, journeyman or certified electrical inspector.
E. One (1) General Inspector: The inspector should have ten (10) years of experience inspecting multiple types of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural. The inspector should be a master, journeyman or certified inspector.
All interested parties agree this sources sought is an informal exchange of information for Government planning purposes. It does not constitute an intention or commitment to proceed with any procurement activity or contractual obligation by the General Services Administration (GSA).
Please confirm that your firm currently has sufficient staffing levels within the Woodlawn, MD Metro area to support the above requirements or that your firm will have sufficient staff in place prior to 09/01/2023.
