Description:

The National Institute of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), intends to award a sole source purchase order for the Center of Technology (CIT) to the Mathworks, for Matlab Maintenance license. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541519- Other Computer Related Services. Mathworks is the only responsible source known to provide the services needed.

It is NLM's intent that the proposed action may be awarded on a sole source basis to Mathworks under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Contractor Objectives and Tasks:

The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire Matlab Maintenance license

Sole Source Justification

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, Mathworks is the only organization who can provide the services needed.

This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, all interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications which will be considered by NLM. Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Damian Hurge, Contract Officer at hurgeda@mail.nih.gov by 12:00 PM EST on, December 09, 2022. Proposals must include pricing information. No late responses will be accepted.
