Subj: Mk22 Towing Bridles and Button Lugs

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Supply contract to support manufacturing for Towing Bridles and Button Lugs for use in fleet-deliverable MK22 MOD4 Rocket Motors. The contract will consist of a Base Year and two (2) 12-month options. The Towing Bridles shall conform to the applicable requirements of Dwgs. 525-174-0144 and 525-174-0145 and Button Lugs shall conform to applicable requirements of Dwgs. 525-174-0142 and 525-174-0179.
The contractor shall manufacture the following Towing Bridles and Button Lugs over a three (3) year period:
- Towing Bridles, 2,560 maximum quantity, over 3 year ordering period.
- Button Lug Band Assembly, 5,110 maximum quantity, over 3 year ordering period.
A first article sample of 10 each Towing Bridles and 10 each Button Lugs will be required prior to the first delivery of any production hardware. The first article units shall be fully representative of those proposed for production, and demonstrate the adequacy and suitability of the Contractor's processes and procedures in complying with the requirements set forth by the drawings and specifications.
This requirement is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The method of Source Selection will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The NAICS code is 332999, the size standard is 750 employees, and the PSC is 1340. The National Stock Number (NSN)/Local Stock Number (LSN) is assigned as: 1340016410902
