This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Tapestri Instrument for encapsulating single cells into droplets and pairing barcoding beads for single-cell sequencing sample preparation, with Mission Bio.
The Clinical Center requires Tapestri Instrument for encapsulating single cells into droplets and pairing barcoding beads for single-cell sequencing sample preparation and DNA training kits. The Tapestri Platform will be used for new assay development for clinical research at single cell. To meet new requirement of clinical and research at clinical center, we need to adapt the up-to-data instrument and technology to provide guidance for clinical service. The Tapestri Platform will be used for profiling DNA and protein simultaneously at single cell level. This system is the capable of simultaneously providing both genotype and phenotype data from the same cell, across thousands of single cells. With DNA as a foundation, proprietary two-step microfluidic workflow enables the simultaneous detection of analytes, including SNVs, CNVs, and cell surface marker. Using this system, CCE will develop new single-cell DNA and immune profiling assays for clinical research, and provide the guidance for manufacturing of CAR-T cell and other Engineered cell products.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6.
