Description:

The project consists of supplying all the labor, equipment, tools, and materials for the structural and cosmetic integrity repairs as well as the asphalt/concrete approaches of aging pedestrian bridges throughout the City’s Park system. In total, two (2) pedestrian bridges have been identified by EBA Engineering Bridge Inspection reports in need of repairs to composite timber/wood pedestrian bridges.

Due to the somewhat concealed locations of the 2 pedestrian bridges outlined in this work scope, a site visit for these pedestrian bridges will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 10:00AM ET We will meet at DAWSON FARM PARK, 312 Ritchie Parkway, Rockville, MD 20852 (located at the intersection of East Jefferson Street and Ritchie Parkway, street parking is available) Bidders will drive their own vehicle to the second site: King Farm Park/Watkins Overlook, following Mauricio Daza. City staff will be on site early at Dawson Farm Park (we are meeting under the shelter), but if there are same day issues, please call Mr. Daza on his cell: 240-876-1400.

This meeting is not mandatory; however bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
