It is the intent of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, (WSSC) to contract with a Contractor to assess the impact of pressure transients on the water network. This assessment is to monitor the occurrence of pressure transients and to validate the overall risks due to transients. Further, the purpose is to assess data and recommendations on minimizing these risks; and, if possible, eliminate these risks. Through this process, it is planned that the data and analysis provided will yield specific information on the nature and occurrence of pressure transients; both high and low pressure events; and the magnitude of these events as a definitive risk to the health of the pipeline segments. Bid Due Date: Friday, April 21, 2023 @ 23:59:59 PM . Please refer to Part I: Additional Instructions, Clause 3. Proposal Submission. Proposal Submission must be submitted on the supplier portal in the Online Discussion. Alternative Submissions will not be accepted. Oral and telegraphic proposals, including e-mail submissions, are considered invalid and will not be accepted or considered for award. Late Proposal Submissions will not be accepted or considered for award. Refer to the Appendix E for Supplier Portal Accessing Online Discussion.
