Description

Project consists of a water transmission main extension and the installation of a new flow control valve and vault to interconnect the 280A and 385B Pressure Zones. The water main extension includes the installation approximately 4,060 linear feet of 16-inch coated, ductile iron water main; 28 linear feet of 14-inch coated, ductile iron water main; 198 linear feet of 12-inch coated, ductile iron water main; 82 linear feet of 8-inch coated, ductile iron water main; 34 linear feet of 6-inch coated, ductile iron water main. The flow control valve and vault include new 6-inch and 12-inch flow control valves, two (2) 6-inch plug valves, two (2) 12-inch plug valves, a cast-in-place concrete vault, and associated electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation components. The Contractor shall provide all materials, except for the water main and water fittings, associated with the Flow Control valve and vault, inclusive of all structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and site/civil improvements. Please Note: This project is a lump sum bid. Bidder shall provide a lump sum bid in the bid schedule.
