Washington County Public School System (WCPS) has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit submittals from qualified consulting firms to provide the Department of Information Technology (IT) with an assessment of its telecommunications system and various options available in the design and implementation of a forward-looking enterprise telecommunications solution. A critical component of this work will be a detailed review of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of available options.Washington County Public Schools is located in Western Maryland, as part of the tri-state area that includes nearby Pennsylvania and West Virginia. There are currently forty-six (46) school facilities as well as the Center for Educational Services (Central Office), and a few other office buildings located throughout Washington County, Maryland.
