Scope

Montgomery County, Maryland intends to use this solicitation to select and enter into a Contract with a design and general construction firm to PROVIDE ALL SERVICES RELATED TO THE DESIGN BUILD SERVICES FOR SWIMMING POOL SLIDE REPLACEMENT AT VARIOUS FACILITIES. The Contractor selection methodology is further explained in Section D.

Design/Construction of the Work must meet the requirements of the County’s Permitting State of Maryland Licensing for Inspection and Complex Structures regulations, COMAR 09.12.63 ( Water Slides Erected Permanently or Temporarily in the State ) and applicable regulations of the Maryland Department of Health and the Division of Labor And Industry. In addition, the Contractor will be required to comply with the Contract requirements of a Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule and monthly updates, and a Contractor Quality Control program.
