Scope
|
The County has established a basic life insurance including group term life, non-job and job related accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident coverages as well as supplemental insurance (including optional life and dependent life coverages), and a long-term disability benefit programs for all eligible employees, retirees and their covered dependents. The County desires to provide these benefit plans, which require certain administrative and claims processing services. The intent of this RFP is to select one (1) Contractor to provide bundle benefit plans effective January 1, 2024. The Contractor selected under this RFP must provide life insurance and long-term disability benefit plans and related administrative services to all County’s eligible employees and eligible retirees covered by the plan as outlined in Attachment D-Technical Questionnaire. The County reserves the right under the Contract to negotiate a change in coverage under the Plans that is within the general scope of the executed Contract with the Contractor at any time during the contract term subject to mutual written agreement of the parties via a written Contract Amendment. |
