Scope

The Office of the County Council is seeking a contractor to provide support to a Councilmember’s office. This is a position supporting the work of the Councilmember and her staff to assist with developing a community organization structure within Council District 2. The goal of this is to create an avenue for district residents to voice their thoughts and concerns through an organized and productive method and to allow the Councilmember’s office to reach constituents in an effective way. The contractor will need to identify community and civic leaders with the goal of creating a more inclusive and energized community in District 2. Additionally, the contractor will need to carry out extensive community research into leaders and community members representing each aspect of the district. This research will need to be conducted by a targeted geographic breakdown as well as by interest groups. The contractor will be required to attend community meetings, engage with current stakeholders, and identify additional stakeholders for the district.
