Scope

PART 1: MCFRS DEFINITION OF TERMS
Unit Prices
Unit Prices must be quoted per each logo or design and must include:

• All logo related materials such as art work, film positives, enlargements or reductions, camera preparation, screen preparations or transfer film preparations must be made from samples and/or sketches provided by the Department. Any logos made by the contractor from samples and/or sketches must be approved by the contract administrator prior to the commencement of work.
• All other associated costs for the application of logos or designs by heat transfer, direct screening or embroidery must be included in the unit price.

Imprint Logos

For the purposes of unit pricing on this solicitation, an imprint logo is to be applied to a garment surface, such as the front, back, top, bottom, or sleeve. A highly durable transfer or direct imprint is required by the Department. Use of correct imprint application process, including double striking (when indicated) and an appropriate flashing period, is mandatory. Apparel bearing Department logos will be exposed to repeated machine washing and drying cycles.
Embroidery Design
For the purposes of unit pricing on this solicitation, an embroidery design is to be applied to a garment surface, such as the front, back, top, bottom, or sleeve. A highly durable embroidery design is required by the Department.
Stitches will be tight, will use high quality threads, and will be free of broken thread strings or any thread fragments.

This is not an all-inclusive list of all the designs, design placement, or apparel types, styles, and colors that will be required.
