Scope

Montgomery County, Maryland Department of Correction and Rehabilitation requires various supplies for correctional use. The following are specifications for the line items solicited through this IFB.

Line 1 – ID Bracelets

Must be compatible with the Pinnacle Laminator Model #5560. Tamper-resistant armbands are designed and manufactured to stand up to even the most adverse conditions. Must be 1”W x 10”L. must be strengthened to protect against stretching and tearing with a tensile strength of 8,000 - 10,000 psi, as well as being water-resistant. Must include a double-sided protectant laminating sleeve. Must have plastic security fasteners. No metal petal parts.

Line 2 – Inmate Headphones

Headset with a built in radio and earpiece (ear bud) with no antenna or wires. Headset must not have any metal parts.

Must be battery powered and no USB charging. See exhibit 1 for an example.

Line 3 – Inmate Radios

Must be a small handheld radio with a plug-in earphone (earbuds) included. The radio must be battery powered with no

metal parts and no USB port charging. See exhibit 1 for an example.
