Scope

It is the intent of Montgomery County, Maryland (hereinunder referred to as the “County”) to obtain professional water quality monitoring services, including the expertise, all labor, all equipment, and reporting required to perform DEP's water quality monitoring activities.
It is the County’s intent to award a maximum of three contracts as a result of this solicitation.
The word “Contract(s)” in this RFP refers to the Contract(s) that the County expects to issue as a result of this solicitation. A sample of the Contract that the County expects to issue as a result of this Solicitation is provided as Attachment F.

The County requires water quality monitoring services that include, but are not limited to, assisting DEP to establish protocols and procedures for monitoring to meet permit requirements; developing reporting templates and reports; and conducting streamflow, water chemistry, biological, geomorphological, fecal indicator bacteria, PCB source tracking, or other monitoring services related to the MS4 Permit, ACOE/MDE Joint Permit, SPA requirements, or other monitoring efforts.
