8. Description:
The United States Government provides this Request for Information to determine potential responsible offerors capable of meeting the Government’s requirement of qty. one (1) Autonomous unmanned, passive geolocation system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, this notice does function as a Request for Information (RFI) for offerors who believe they can meet the Government’s requirement. The Government is seeking an autonomous, unmanned, RF-based, passive geolocation system that can operate in all-visibility conditions, for multiple RF emitters including Integrated Air-Defense radars, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) communication links, Jammers, and Control Stations. Other requirements include a RF multi-band payload weight of less than 3.5 kg, low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), robust localization capability, wide area RF surveillance, open architecture, and a system that can support single or multiple UAV operation. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
The Government does not intend to use Part 12 for this acquisition.
