PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ** NOTICE OF INTENT
NOI-NIAID-24-2212813
NAICS – 611430, Professional and Management Development Training
This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Cvent, Inc. 1765 Greensboro Station Pl, Fl 7, Tysons Corner, VA 22102-3467. This is a follow-on requirement to provide 4,000 registrations and the renewal of NIAID’s Cvent Enterprise License – Event Management for a 12-month period, plus allows for five additional user logins during the one year period. This is a follow-on requirement for Cvent software which was originally purchased and utilized by NIAID in 2010. NIAID has successfully used this system since then and intends to continue to use this tool to ensure continuity of operations. It would be prudent to build on and expand an already proven/successful Cvent system. By standardizing and utilizing the software in this arena, NIAID would see gains in collaboration within the agency and outside the agency. CVENT, Inc. is a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform. CVENT offers solutions for online event registration, venue selection, event management, mobile apps for events, e-mail marketing and web surveys.
Period of performance is March 30, 2024 – March 29, 2025.
The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 (a) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources that could provide comparable services may submit a capability statement that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NOI-NIAID-24-2212813 to Dana Monroe at dana.monroe@nih.gov, by 5:00pm ET February 28, 2024. All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
