Description

  1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item contract, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

  2. Solicitation number 2124404B3000HS006 applies, and is issued as a Request for Quotation.

  3. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02(FEB 2023).

  4. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the business size standard is 1000 PPL. U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) hereby submits a sole source firm fixed price synopsis/solicitation for Control Factors Seattle Inc. for these items. Please see the attached JOTFOC.

  5. This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Aquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b) (urgent) and 6.303-2 modified to reflect procedures in 13.5 (a)(ii).

  6. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that awarding to anyone other than Control Factors Seattle Inc. would be

    advantageous to the Government, and would not be cost or time prohibitive.




  1.
