INTRODUCTION

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure, on a brand name/limited source basis, for cable/wire totaling 5,000 feet each of the 20 AWG, 22 AWG, and 24 AWG Orange Cable; 1000 feet of 14 AWG and 16 AWG cables.

THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential sources capable of providing the support described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis.

ELIGIBILITY

The PSC for this requirement is 6145; the NAICS is 332618. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a competitive procurement.

ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

The anticipated ordering period for this requirement is to be determined (TBD).

ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE

This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s initial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. The Government will not pay for any information received.
