The purpose of this posting is to (1) notify the Architect-Engineer (A-E) community of the scheduled 2024 National Guard Bureau (NGB) A-E Industry Day, (2) request interested firms to sign-up for the Industry Day, and (3) solicit feedback from interested firms on topics they would like to see presented at the Industry Day.
The Industry Day details are as follows:
- Location: Joint Base Andrews, Maryland at the Jacob Smart Conference Center AND Microsoft Teams (hybrid event)
- Date/Time: April 4, 2024, from 0900 ET to 1200 ET

Interested firms must contact Brittany Weller at brittany.l.weller.ctr@army.mil to register for the Industry Day.

In-person Registration Request – If you wish to register to attend in-person, please submit the following information for each attendee (for security/access purposes):
- Name (First, Middle, and Last)
- Date of Birth
- Driver’s License State and Number (if you have a Common Access Card (CAC) or Retired Military ID Card, the Driver’s License information is not necessary; just notify Ms. Weller that you have this form of ID).
- Virtual (Microsoft Teams) Registration Request – If you wish to register to attend virtually via Microsoft Teams, submit only the name and e-mail address for each attendee.
- Registration closing date: March 25, 2024, at 1600 ET
- Due to space restrictions, we may need to limit the number of attendees. The conference room reserved for this year is much bigger than last year, but the until the registration is complete, and the final numbers are known, we will not be able to confirm how many attendees each firm can bring. Once registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email along with further instructions for attendance.

If you are responding with information about the topics to be discussed at the Industry Day, please also submit those responses via e-mail to Brittany Weller, brittany.l.weller.ctr@army.mil, no later than March 22, 2024. Your responses/feedback will be incorporated with information from other parties, so take care not to provide proprietary or company-sensitive information.
The Industry Day will be broken out into three (3) 45-minute briefings. The tentative agenda is as follows:
- Hour 1 (0900 ET) will include Air National Guard (ANG) and NGB Acquisition Directorate (AQ) leadership covering challenges and their outlook on the NGB’s A-E requirements.
- Hour 2 (1000 ET) will include an in-depth update from NGB-AQ on the status of the A-E Regional awards.
- Hour 3 (1100 ET) will address any hot topics requested by industry.
As a reminder, the 2024 ANG planned construction and design projects were posted to sam.gov (https://sam.gov/opp/84efd783a26548b6a286444c9b54e4a2/view) on November 17, 2023.
