This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.





The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed priced purchase order on a sole source basis to GALVANIZE THERAPEUTICS, INC., Redwood City, California 94065-1196, UEI: XL2XFMRTGMD7 for the Clinical Center/ Interventional Radiology Department. The Interventional Radiology Department and the Clinical Center partners with the National Cancer Institute, offering diagnosis and treatment of cancer.





The Aliyaâ„¢ System is designed to deliver non-thermal Pulsed Electric Field energy to disrupt cellular homeostasis, resulting in cell death. It is currently indicated for the surgical ablation of soft tissue. The items that are requested for procurement are:



a. Aliya Pulsed Electric Field Electrode



b. Aliya Pulsed Electric Field Insulated 19 Gauge X 20cm





Galvanized Therapeutics is the only vendor who supplies these specific electrodes and needles that are necessary to treat the patient. The experience of the NIH IR staff is that there are no other vendors who offer these Aliya Pulsed Electric Field Electrode and Aliya Pulsed Electric Field Insulated 19 Gauge X 20cm and Galvanized Therapeutics does not have independent distributors





This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The total dollar value of this purchase order shall not exceed the SAT at $250,000.00.





Interested concerns capable of providing the same or similar products or services as described in this notice may submit a capability statement outlining their capabilities. Capability Statements must be received within the time set forth in this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
