In accordance with Department of Commerce space policies, and with the increasing need for administrative workstations, the building 101 office tower Floor 2 needs to be renovated and modernized. The existing second floor will be converted to a less restricted layout, intermingling closed offices and conference rooms with open work areas, collaboration spaces, and exposed filing and copy spaces. This contract is intended to perform the construction services to renovate designated areas of the 2nd Floor of Building 101.
- Magnitude of Construction: Pursuant to FAR 36.204(b) the following is provided: The magnitude of construction is between $ 1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
Site Visit: An organized site visit is scheduled for: January 22nd, 2024, meeting in the front lobby of Building 101 at 10am EST and expected to end by 12pm EST. Only one site visit will be conducted. The site visit is arranged for this RFQ so that Offerors can conduct preliminary site condition survey to ascertain the nature and location of the work and the general and local conditions, which can affect the work and the price. Please send a list of attendees to umar.mansaray@nist.gov and copy michael.wigfall@nist.gov with the following information:

If someone is not a US Citizen, we need their country of citizenship and if they are a US Permanent Resident (Y/N). Note – if they are not a US Permanent Resident, the approval can time up to 72 hours.
By January 17th, 2024, 1pm EST. This will enable visitor access requested to the site in a timely manner. Any requests submitted after this date may not be considered.
RFI Questions due NO LATER THAN January 29th,2024 1pm EST. Answers to all RFIs will be posted on Sam.gov available for all vendors to view.
Offers Due NO LATER THAN February 27th,2024 1 pm EST.
