Description

SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Naval Air Warfare Command – Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) deliver order under Basic Ordering Agreement N0042123G0005 to Dayton T. Brown, Inc., 1175 Church Street, Bohemia, NY 11716, for the continued development of the P-8 Aircraft Media Gateway (AMG) through the Engineering Development Model (EDM) phase.



REQUIREMENTS:



The scope of the resultant task order will include the development, integration, installation, and qualification of the Engineering Development Model (EDM) AMG systems for retrofit of both NAS Patuxent River and the Lockheed Martin P-8 Mission Systems Integration Laboratories.



This notice is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for quotes or request for information.



A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government and is based on an approval to utilize the authority under FAR 8.405-6(b).
