The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), in support of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Platform Infrastructure Acquisition Division (PIAD) will be conducting an Industry Day at the upcoming 2023 International Workboat Show (New Orleans, LA) to discuss the upcoming release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide commercially available Uncrewed Maritime Systems (UMS) to support NOAA’s charting and surveying requirements for the Class B vessels.

NOAA’s Net Zero Emissions (NZE) 2050 Initiative and its impact on the Class C Fisheries/Coastal Science Vessels new construction program will also be discussed during this Industry Day. Information will be provided on Industry Studies for NZE incorporation into the Class C contract.

NOAA is planning to provide a presentation in the morning of November 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM. NOAA will be in room 206.
