This is a full and open, unrestricted requirement for a heavy duty single-piece rubber gym floor mat to replace the existing gym floor tiles in the 121st Fighter Squadron (121 FS) gym as part of the US Air Force's Optimizing the Human Weapon System (OHWS). The floor mat must be an appropriate thickness to permit dropping weights from approximately five feet without damaging the floor or requiring a raised platform to minimize tripping hazards in the gym. The flooring must be one piece versus being comprised of multiple tiles to minimize separation and ensure long-term longevity. Prior to installation, the room will be prepared by members of the 121 FS. This will involve removing gym equipment, but installation will be performed by the company ultimately selected for the installation. The quote must include costs for delivery and installation. Additionally, the selected contractor must provide a warranty on the installed flooring to ensure longevity, safety, and thoughtful usage of funds.
