Description

The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Tenant Division requests a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) for the purchase of a mower in efforts to manage weeds, other vegetation, and tick populations due to high grass.The vendor is to provide all the necessary materials, parts, and components required for the performance of this contract. Each unit requires a minimum of: 32.5 HP engine, Slope rating 20-30 (including dual wheel kit &digital slope indicator options), 68" mower deck attachment with 3-4" cut height, mount system, tilt up deck, canopy for overhead protection, SDLA Hand Controls, Front Fenders, Foot pegs, Weight Transfer, 1-year limited warranty.



This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside , The Associated North America Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 333112 Lawn and Garden Tractor and Home Lawn and Garden Equipment. Contractor shall provide a unit price for each of the items listed in the attached purchase description .The award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and the offer that meets the requirement/specifications.



For specific information please refer to the attached purchase description. Place of Contract Performance: US Army Aberdeen Test Center, 6850 Lanyard Road, Building 358, AberdeenProving Ground, MD 21005-5059, United States.



Requirement: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) process described in FAR 15.101-2 will be used, meaning the award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. The technical evaluation will be a determination based on information furnished by the Contractor and in accordance wtith the Purchase Description. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the offer. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. In order to be considered technically acceptable, Contractor responses must provide: a. Information in enough detail to show that the Contractor is able to meet the requirements. Previous acquisitions, history, ability to fulfill requirement in addition to specificiations and equipment in accordance with purchase description. b. Point of contact name and contact information, company CAGE code, DUNS number, and TIN. Partial quotes will not be evaluated by the Government.



SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email no later than 04 August 2023 10:00 AM.
