The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), in support of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Platform Infrastructure Acquisition Division (PIAD) will be conducting an Industry Day at the upcoming 2022 International Workboat Show to discuss the upcoming release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide commercially available Uncrewed Maritime Systems (UMS) to support NOAA’s charting and surveying requirements for the Class B vessels.

Written responses received from interested UMS vendors may result in one-on-one meetings with NOAA at the International Workboat Show (currently scheduled for November 30- December 2, 2022) in New Orleans, LA. EAD intends to start scheduling meetings with industry shortly after the submission deadline below. After the meetings with industry are conducted, EAD will post the questions and answers identified during the meetings on SAM.gov.

Tentatively, NOAA is planning to provide a presentation in the morning of December 1, 2022 around 10:00 AM Eastern and would be available for one-on-one meetings in the afternoon of the same day. NOAA will be in room 211-212 until approximately 4:00 PM on December 1, 2022.
