The Defense Media Activity is seeking to procure maintenance subscriptions. Below is a description of the requirements:
(a) Ability to provide equipment maintenance subscriptions with the following capabilifo
• On-site, 24 x 7, 4-hour response time replacement support for all parts by a Dell certified
technician with genuine Dell parts sources through Dell or a Dell authorized channel. 24 x 7
telephone-based technical support by a Dell certified technician. 24 x 7 access to Dell's Web
knowledge base and e-mail notification. o The equipment to be maintained shall have service tags
as active Post
Standard Support or currently active extended warranty covered systems with Dell Inc., for the
period of performance. As such, maintenance coverage shall be reflected on Dell's Website and proof
of registration provided to the Government within two weeks after contract award.
o Products and services provided shall comply with all terms of Dell's Post Standard Support or
extended warranty contract.
o If non-repairable equipment containing drives must be replaced, the drives must be returned to
DMA.
o Support for the equipment to be maintained shall be provided directly from Dell Technical Support
or Dell authorized provider.
o Access to Dell's Enterprise Command Center shall be provided for critical proprietary information
when needed.
