INVITATION TO BID

CITY OF ABERDEEN AND APG
GENERATOR MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
BID NO. 24-04

The City of Aberdeen will receive sealed bids which require a trade contractor to provide
the necessary maintenance services for 46 generator units at various City-owned
facilities, this includes 26 generator units located on Aberdeen Proving Ground. US
Citizenship and a Federal Government background check is required for work within APG
restricted areas. Applications for security clearances will be provided after the contracts
are awarded.
Specifications and Bid Forms are available electronically by signing up for updates on the
City of Aberdeen website at https://www.aberdeenmd.gov/bids . A pre-bid meeting is
scheduled for September 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM (ET) at 60 North Parke Street,
Aberdeen, Maryland. Bidders are expected to examine the Invitation to Bid,
Specifications, and the Bid Form carefully. In case doubt shall arise as to the meaning
or intent of anything in the Invitation to Bid, the Specifications or the Bid Form, inquiry
should be made to Shawn Brogan, Procurement Officer, at sbrogan@aberdeenmd.gov ,
no later than 4:00 PM (ET) October 4, 2023.
All bids must be sealed and plainly marked “COA AND APG GENERATOR
MAINTENANCE CONTRACT" (with bidder information) and be delivered to the City
Office, 60 N. Parke St., Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, no later than 1:00 PM, October 11,
2023.
