RENOVATATIONS TO ABERDEEN FAMILY SWIM CENTER

BID NO. 24-11

The City of Aberdeen will receive sealed Bids which require a trade Contractor to provide the necessary services to renovate the Aberdeen Swim Center. The project in general consists of site work, renovation of an existing building that serves as bath house, office areas, mechanical room with pool filters, motors, etc., removal of concrete decking, demolition of existing pool and supporting infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, etc.), demolition of an existing kiddy pool, the construction and installation of new pool and splash pad and all associated support equipment (electrical, plumbing, etc).

Specifications and Bid Forms are available electronically by signing up for updates on the City of Aberdeen website at https://www.aberdeenmd.gov/bids. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM (LOCAL) at 60 North Parke Street, Aberdeen, Maryland. Bidders are expected to examine the Invitation to Bid, Specifications, and the Bid Form carefully. In case doubt shall arise as to the meaning or intent of anything in the Invitation to Bid, the Specifications or the Bid Form, inquiry should be made to Shawn Brogan, Procurement Officer, at sbrogan@aberdeenmd.gov , no later than 2:00 PM (Local) Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

All bids must be sealed and plainly marked “RENOVATATIONS TO ABERDEENFAMILY SWIM CENTER" (with bidder information) and be delivered to the City Office, 60 N. Parke St., Aberdeen, Maryland 21001, no later than 2:00 PM (LOCAL), WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2023.
