NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Completed bids shall be submitted to the City of Cumberland’s online solicitation website, until but not after 2:00 p.m., local time, on 1 1/15/2023. All bids will be virtually released at 2 :30 p.m. on that date and available to view on the website. Released bid information does not constitute any award has been made.
MUNICIPAL SERVICE CENTER FUEL TANK REPLACEMENT
CITY PROJECT NO. 23-14-PBLD
This project includes:

Demolition and removal of existing fuel tank and fuel island sites.

Environmental testing after removal.

Construction of proposed fuel tank and fuel island sites including all foundations, dispensers, tanks, lines, conduit, fencing, bollards, guardrail, and canopy.
A "MANDATORY PREBID SESSION” for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in performing the work, relative to construction details, will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on 10/31/2023 at the Engineering Dept. Conference Room.
A Proposal Guaranty (Bond or Certified Check) in the amount of at least 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid.
The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, for all construction contracts in excess of $100,000, at the time the contract is executed.
The Mayor and City Council reserve the right to waive any technicalities and to reject any or all bids, and to accept any or all proposals which in their judgment is to the best interest of the City.

NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS
If your Proposal Guaranty is being mailed, please send to 57 N. Liberty Street, Cumberland, MD 21502. Guaranties need not arrive prior to bids being due, so long as proper proof of guaranty is provided with the completed online bid submission.
