The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids to furnish two (2) dumpsters and requisite dumping, hauling and disposal of contents from the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at the Public Works Department, 16550 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland.

The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB). The City reserves the right to reject any bids if the evidence submitted by the bidder or an investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the City that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract; and further reserves the right to reduce or modify the scope of the Project in order to meet funding limits and the City’s schedule. By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it has the ability to comply with all requirements contained in the Invitation for Bids.

Deadline for inquiries is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued no later than Friday, May 26, 2023, to all those who request the IFB.

Bids shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/3461_Furnishing_Two_2_Dumpsters_And_Dumping_Hauling_And_Disposal_Of_Contents . Bids shall be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via a virtual meeting. A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all parties who have registered with Bid Locker regarding this IFB. All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this Invitation for Bids must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.

PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS WHO OBTAINED THIS DOCUMENT FROM ANY SOURCE OTHER THAN BID LOCKER, SHOULD IMMEDIATELY REGISTER WITH BID LOCKER TO ENSURE RECEIPT OF ADDENDA AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS REGARDING THIS SOLICITATION.
