The Work includes the following major items: establishment of temporary water services for the cleaning and Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining of approximately 6,240 LF of existing 8” cast iron pipe (CIP) watermain and 913 LF of existing 6” CIP water main. There is approximately 1,021 LF of replacement 8” ductile iron pipe (DIP), 533 LF of replacement 6” DIP, and 39 LF of 2” DIP, all including fittings and valves. All appurtenances and related work including, but not limited to, excavation, backfill and compaction, restoration, traffic control, and paving are also included. The Project is located on Crain Highway (MD-3) in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County. All materials and labor including those necessary for restoration, traffic control, paving, and other ancillary components of this construction shall be included as part of the Contractor’s price bid.
